My upcoming online training dates
Internet sorcery means I can be beamed into your home, like Mike Teevee
Since lockdown, we all got more used to working online. Normally I would work with schools in person, but suddenly the new normal meant we finally moved to speaking to one another through televisions, like 70s sci-fi promised.
Training online can never replace the lived experienced of face-to-face coaching, with formative reflection. But it can be a brilliant way to start people thinking about new ways to work; to introduce concepts and strategies that cab change the way we work. I’ve now worked with tens of thousands of teachers and leaders around the world in short webinars. It works best in the 90 minute format: I deliver for the first hour, and then the last 30 minutes are dedicated to live Q&A in order to really unpack and troubleshoot the issues that attendees want to discuss. I find that way, they can ensure the material is relevant to their circumstances.
UPCOMING ONLINE TRAINING, live with me:
All sessions run from 4:00-5:30pm. All sessions suitable for primary and secondary colleagues. Group discounts available.

8th July 2024 – Building relationships with a challenging class-
'Build a relationship' with your class' is true, but terrible advice to someone when the class doesn't seem to want one, you aren't sure how, or even what it means. Aren't you there to just...teach?
But if the class won't behave, then they're not going to learn or thrive, as learners or people.
This webinar offers practical, straightforward advice on how teachers can build the kinds of relationships with classes that leave students:
Positive about learning
Ready to try new things
Motivated to do their best
Interested in what you have to say
Committed to being kind to one another.
....and you'll be able to hear yourself think!
10th July 2024 – Creating your own behaviour curriculum- a guide
Why do we need a behaviour curriculum?
What does it need to do?
What does YOUR school curriculum need to include?
Designing the curriculum
Training your staff

Live Q&A with Tom
If any of this is of use to you, I look forward to seeing you there. And please pass this on to any of your colleagues who may benefit from one of these events.
Best
Tom
